The Science & Engineering Internship Program brings together the university, undergraduate students, community and industry to work collaboratively on a broad range of projects that will benefit all parties. The program has become an integral part of our commitment to ensuring our courses are relevant to industry needs.

Undergraduate students have an opportunity to take part in a six month, full time, industry internship, giving students an opportunity to have a taste of workplace experience in their chosen discipline before going on to graduate. It allows them to develop life long learning skills, understand workplace culture and focus on their career goals.

Undergraduate students in their final year of study in science and engineering have an opportunity to take part in a six-month, full time, industry internship. This allows students an opportunity to have a taste of workplace experience in their chosen discipline before going on to graduate.

The program was established to ensure that our students have the necessary skills and abilities to succeed in their role as a professional. The partnerships that have evolved between the organisations, the students and the University have been extremely rewarding for all participants.
