The generous sponsorship and the donation of time by Murdoch academic and administrative staff makes it possible to keep the total cost (per student) to just $350 (inc GST) for the week. Scholarships and travel bursaries, offered on a needs basis, help several students to attend the School each year. Country students have come from as far afield as Kununurra and Esperance. We are grateful to the Australian Federation of University Women for providing two full scholarships each year.

WA Science & Engineering Summer School students live on the Murdoch University campus and are supervised by full-time resident tutors and assistant tutors. Each student has a single study bedroom in the modern Student Village and will use the latest in laboratories and lecture theatres, as well as having access to the University's recreational facilities - including the gymnasium / sports centre.
